Located in scenic North Oaks, once railroad magnet James J. Hill’s livestock farm, Tria pays homage to local history with a bronze statue of a pig tucked into the bar area. According to legend, cattlemen working on the farm had a beloved pet pig affectionately known as Morgan, (presumably named for Hill’s rival financier, J.P. Morgan) who was seen as a good luck charm. Like the cattlemen before them, Tria patrons are eager to rub Morgan’s belly for a bit of good fortune.
